Purchasing fleet graphics can seem like a daunting process, especially when you are purchasing for a very large fleet that may contain several different types of vehicles and trailers. 1. What information will the customer be asked to provide when purchasing fleet graphics?

Chase Yocom, National Account Manager:

“The first two things a new customer should come to us with are basic contact info for their company and any usable artwork files, such as their logo, supporting graphics, or images. Bringing your own usable artwork can cut down on the cost of any additional design time.”

Shirley Wurster, National Account Manager:

“For a vehicle wrap, it’s important to come to us with the year, make, model, and pictures of the vehicle being wrapped. All this information will speed up the process and allow us to get started on creating a custom wrap for your company. For many of our freight carrier customers needing trailer wraps or box truck wraps, we can provide templated measurement sheets of that vehicle and the customer can simply fill in the correct measurements and sends back to us.”

Jason Scheurer, National Account Manager:

“It is also beneficial to come to the table with the scope of the project you have in mind, especially in the case of large fleet branding projects. The quantity of vehicles needing graphics, specs, and the physical locations of where the vehicles are located. All this information allows TKO and the customer to all be on the same page and understand the expectations of the project.”

2. How long does the fleet graphics process take from start to a completed installation?

You will notice, this question doesn’t have a clear answer. That’s because each customer has their own needs and varying factors for each project, therefore, there’s no “one size fits all” answer on how long the process with take.

Shirley Wurster, National Account Manager:

“With our current production times, it could take about 5-6 weeks from design to production, and installation. However, this time frame can vary with our workflows.”

Chase Yocom, National Account Manager:

“Everything we produce is custom made for each customer and has quite a few processes to go through once in our production. Therefore, it could take anywhere between 10-20 business days for the production processes before it’s ready for the installation process.” Once your item is ready for install our Installation Coordinator will work with you on scheduling a date for installation. The project size and difficulty of installation will determine how long the installation with take.”

3. Is there any type of warranty provided when purchasing fleet graphics?

Jason Scheurer, National Account Manager:

4. What should I do if I don’t know the measurements of the item being decaled?

National Account Manager Chase Yocom:

“If the vehicle or project site is located locally, one of TKO Account Managers can set up an appointment to get those measurements for the customer. If the vehicle or project site is out of our area, we have a network of certified installers that we can set up a site visit for the customer. They will get the information needed for the project and send it to us so we can properly produce the project for the customer.”
