TKO Signs recently completed signage for Grundfos—a Danish pump manufacturer who acquired Peerless Pump in 2007. During a remodeling of their Indianapolis facility, we installed two exterior signs—a backlit halo illuminated entry sign, and wall-mounted channel letters. When working with construction crews, it’s critical to communicate progress, change orders, and delays as quickly as possible. New construction brings its own challenges. Brick masons, electricians, and sign installers must all know who is doing what, when, and where. And sometimes, it changes by the hour.
Experience Counts
While some providers may have been challenged by the logistics of a project dependent on so many trades, the professionals working independently on this project pulled together, completing the work to the customer’s satisfaction. Whether it’s a plumber, painter, or sign builder, there’s something to be said for experience. “Been there done that” is a good thing in the building trades.
