Can My Graphics Be Installed at My Location?
The answer is yes, but there are a few prerequisites. The first requirement is that the site is inside. Yes, we have installed graphics outside, but the weather must be right. If it’s too humid, too hot, too cold, or storming, this can adversely affect the adhesion of the graphics.
Here’s what adhesive vinyl manufacturer 3M had to say about what temperature (and humidity) adhesive vinyl graphics need for proper installation. “For installation‚ the ultimate temperature-controlled environment is 70° F (21° C) with 50 percent humidity. For best results with films recommended for vehicle wrapping‚ always apply when the air and vehicle surface are both above 60° F (16° C).”
Can we install graphics inside your facility? Yes, we can, but once again, the environment must meet the minimum levels for successful application and adhesion. We will also need power, good lighting, and ceiling height to accommodate the vehicle and scaffolding as needed.
Can Fleet Graphics Be Installed Outdoors?
Can adhesive vinyl graphics be installed outdoors? Yes, they can, but only if the conditions are near perfect, and as long as you understand if the weather turns bad, your installation will be delayed. We will not install fleet graphics in conditions that could affect their quality.

The Number of Vehicles
The number of vehicles to be wrapped can affect where they are to be installed. For example, not long ago, we completed a rebrand for a national shipping company of 17,000 vehicles. Type of Installation
The type of installation also will influence the location. We can install simple decals almost anywhere, while a full wrap on a 53-foot trailer needs an environmentally controlled space with power, lighting, and an 18 foot or higher ceiling.
Type of Vehicle
The type of vehicle also impacts where installation takes place. Like the example above, 53-foot trailers, box trucks, and many work vans need a higher space than a car, pickup truck, or standard van. A partial wrap on a van may take only a couple of hours and not need as much space. However, a full wrap on a box truck could take half a day or more and may even need to remain inside overnight.
Your Schedule
Your schedule is important as well. A national lawn care provider had 4,000 vehicles they wanted to rebrand, but they didn’t want to take them off the streets to do so. Taking that many vehicles out of the work schedule, even one at a time could add up to thousands of dollars in lost revenue. Their vehicles worked from 6 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday.
