Anyone who follows me on Instagram knows I’m a beer geek. I drive follower’s batty posting photo after photo of beer from my backyard. And, I have a beer fridge that at any given time has more than 100 styles of beer. I like beer, and I like beer people. And…what’s not to like about a beer tap truck I ask you?

Who is FDR?

At its core, Four Day Ray is a group of beer enthusiasts who set up shop in Westfield, Indiana. President and owner, Brian Graham has been a passionate home brewer for more than 18 years. He took home the prize for best of show home brew at the 2000 Indiana State Fair. Executive director Mitch Ackerman brings eight years’ experience as a professional brewer to the team. They’re Beer guys. Brian explained their mission,

We feel this is a maturing market. A lot of the ground work has been laid down. But a lot of breweries aren’t giving consumers credit. People are ready to take their craft brew journey to the next step…and we want to provide the education…we want to help them understand brews and share our passion. – Four Day Ray on YouTube

This Van Rocks

Readers probably get tired of our preaching that simple is elegant, and the most effective vehicle graphics are understated. Intricate designs with multiple images, colors, and fonts often take away from the purpose of the wrap. The important point isn’t how much space is filled; the important point is the message, and this van sends a message—it’s loud and clear that beer is here! And it doesn’t hurt that the logo is tasteful and eye-catching or that the brand is unified across marketing initiatives. This is how it’s done. A fun note, did you notice the print on the front of the van is backwards? Do you know why?

Where can you find the FDR Van?

If you’d like to know where to find the FDR van do what I did and like them on Facebook FourDayRay. You can find them at the Amp After Dark, concert series in Fishers on Fridays all summer. Music and beer. Beer and music. Sounds like fun. Does it get any better? If you’d like to know more about fleet graphics for your organization contact us, we’ll keep few ideas on “tap” for you.
