I’m seated at my kitchen table looking at nearly 12 inches of drifting snow and temperatures well below zero. It’s my fourth day at home. Don’t get me wrong, I love working at home away from workplace distractions, (that would be me distracting others) but there comes a point… If I was to pick a time to be snowed in, this is as good as any—with NFL playoffs, BCS bowl games, and loads of basketball on TV (much to my wife’s chagrin). I’ve plenty of work to complete as well, five blogs to write today, several to edit, and administration of five social networks. There’s been snow to shovel, meals to prepare, more snow to shovel, pets to feed, and more snow to shovel, but a board game or six would’ve been nice.
Promoting Fun
In our fast paced, highly connected world, good old fashioned board games can bring us together. Rather than sitting in the same room checking our smart phones, laptops, and tablets we could be interacting. When’s the last time you laughed over a game of checkers or tested your skills in a spirited game of backgammon? Maybe it’s time to stop being bored and get out the board games.
Get in the Game
Promotional board games are available as specialty products. Imagine your customer snowed in (or not) enjoying a rousing round of checkers, chess, cards, or more—surrounded by friends and family using your branded game set. Not a bad way to be remembered, is it? Here are a few of the fun and games available. Let us know if you’d like more ideas—we’re game.
